Download your Account and Event Data

Even with the migration of Brown Paper Tickets to Events.com, and the retirement of the original Brown Paper Tickets platform, your Brown Paper Tickets account and event data will remain accessible through at least the end of June 2026. Fortunately, reports can also be downloaded as spreadsheets and saved so you can retain your data for the long-term.

Listed below are different Brown Paper Tickets reports and how you can access and download them to save them outside of the Brown Paper Tickets system, along with suggestions for how to redirect customers to your new event listing from an older Brown Paper Tickets page:

Download Account Data

There are a number of account-level reports you may want to download and save for your records.

Account Journal

The Account Journal contains records of payments made to your organization from Brown Paper Tickets for event ticket sales, as well as payments your organization has made to Brown Paper Tickets, such as for bulk ticket sales, or service fees from a custom credit card processor.

You can find instructions to access and download the Account Journal here: Your Account Journal

Event Journal

The Event Journal allows you to view individual ticket sale transactions, with various filters available, including the options to filter by date and payment processor.

See how to access and download the report here: View Transactions for Specific Time Frames

All Sales List Report

You can download a spreadsheet which includes all the sales data for all of your events in one report.

To access this report and download this report:

  1. Log in to your Brown Paper Tickets account.
  2. Follow this link while logged in: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/allsales.xls
  3. A new window will prompt you to "Open" or "Download" the file. Follow the prompts to complete the download.
  4. Once the download is complete, you can open the document and sort or filter the columns that are relevant to you, like the customer email address and attendee names.

Having trouble with the download?

If you have an older account with an impressive sales history it can take a few minutes for the download to complete.

Occasionally, the file may be so huge that the page will time out before it finishes, but don't be disheartened. Generally, if you just refresh the page and repeat the steps above the file will download after one or two tries.

If that fails, just shoot us an email and we will be happy to download the file and email it to you.

Download Event Data

You may also want to save data from individual events you've listed on Brown Paper Tickets.

Access Past Events

In order to download event-level data, you'll first need to visit the event through your event organizer account. You can still access events that have taken place in the past using Manage Your Events. To view past events:

  1. Log in to your Brown Paper Tickets account.
  2. Select Manage Your Events from the Account menu in the upper left.
  3. On the Manage Your Events page, scroll down to the Past Events section.
  4. Click the blue Go! button in line with the event for which you want to download data.

Attendee Lists

You can download lists of people who bought tickets or attended your events in a couple of different formats. For past events, we recommend downloading the Complete List version of the Attendee Lists, as it contains more details than the Door List format, including buyer contact information.

You can find instructions for downloading the attendee Complete List here: Locate Your Attendees' Order Details

Event Reports

Event reports contain a variety of sales stats for your events, including items like the number of tickets sold for each event date and price, and the number of attendees who selected each delivery method.

Here are instructions for accessing your Event Reports: View Your Event's Sales and Stats

Redirect Attendees to a New Event Listing

If you need to ensure that potential attendees who find an old Brown Paper Tickets listing are able to find the up-to-date location to buy their tickets, you can add a link to the new listing on your old Brown Paper Tickets event page to help point them in the right direction.

We recommend taking the following steps:

  1. Use the instructions above to access your event through your Brown Paper Tickets event organizer account.
  2. Visit the Look & Feel tab in the dark gray bar on the Manage Your Event page for the event.
  3. Under Ticket Box Location, toggle the setting to Below event description.
    • This will move the event description up to the top of the page, above the ticket widget, to make it more immediately visible on the page.
  4. Click Save Changes
  5. Go to the Details tab in the dark gray bar near the top of the page.
  6. In the Full Description box add a link to the new event page, along with any explanatory text you would like to add.
    • Note that URLs will not automatically be hyperlinked, but you can add the hyperlink with HTML. See instructions below.
  7. Click Save Changes

Add a Hyperlink

You can add a hyperlink to your event Full Description using HTML. In order to add a hyperlink:

  1. Copy & paste the following code into the Description field:

    <a href="URL FOR LINK">link text</a>
  2. Replace the words URL FOR LINK with the URL you'd like to direct people to.
    • Make sure to include the http:// or https:// at the beginning of the url
  3. Replace the words LINK TEXT with the words you'd like to display for people to see.
