View Your Event's Sales and Stats

Curious to see your event's stats? Event reports offer a detailed snapshot of sales by date, ticket type, and delivery method. You can also view your total sales by payment processor.

You have to first select the event or events you would like a report for-–you can select an entire event or multiple events, or specific dates within a multi-date event.

How to Generate Your Event Report

  1. Log in to your Brown Paper Tickets account
  2. Under the Reports Menu, select Event Reports
  3. Under Events, select the event or date for the report
  4. Click Generate Report

The report is broken out into several sections, with the event date the report is for in bold at the top. This report can be printed or downloaded via links in the upper right corner.

Sales by Price

This section displays the total sales per price for the event. A price level may appear more than once, if the event has a variable price or if tickets were entered via the Box Office Tools, Record Tickets or Sell Tickets.

If tickets are distributed via your box office tools, and a credit card was not processed through our system, the Price level will be the ticket value and the Sale Price may be $0.00. You may have collected cash or check for this sale, however the value will not be reflected here, only that a ticket was reserved and counts towards the event's capacity.


Sales by Date

Lists the sales per event date.

Sales by Delivery Method 

A breakdown of the sales per delivery method. This might be helpful information when anticipating the door staff your event will require.

Sales by Type

You'll find Purchased and Reserved ticket quantities.

Purchased Tickets

  • Tickets bought through the public website
  • Purchases completed by our Contact Center
  • Credit card orders via the Sell Tickets tool
  • Free tickets reserved through the public website

Reserved Tickets

  • Orders placed via the Record Tickets tool
  • Cash or check orders made via the Sell Tickets tool

Sales by Seller

Tells you who processed the reservation.

Brown Paper Tickets

  • Tickets bought through the public website
  • Purchases completed by our Contact Center
  • Free tickets reserved through the public website

Username or Email Address

  • Orders placed via the Record Tickets tool
  • Orders made via the Sell Tickets tool

Sales by Payment Account

A breakdown of how payments were processed. Any sales made under "Your Merchant Account" are sent directly to your integrated credit card processor.

Values on the Event Report do not reflect service fee, sales tax, or any incidental cost. The amount shown is the full value of the ticket.
