Set Up or Update PayPal Integration with Brown Paper Tickets

We are excited to offer a new, upgraded PayPal integration. This upgrade will provide a streamlined and improved experience for you and your customers.

Using the new integration will require a few additional steps, even if you have previously been using PayPal with your Brown Paper Tickets account. These steps should take less than five minutes to complete. 

In order to use PayPal with Brown Paper Tickets, please follow these instructions:

  1. Log in to your Brown Paper Tickets account.
  2. Select Financial Settings from the Account drop-down menu in the upper left.
  3. Click on the PayPal option in the left-hand column.

  4. Click the Link Your PayPal Account button.
  5. This button will take you to a screen on the PayPal site where you will be asked to provide your PayPal account information and log in to the account in order to "Connect a PayPal account and start accepting payments on Brown Paper Tickets."
  6. After logging in to your PayPal account, be sure to click the button to Return to Brown Paper Tickets to complete the integration.
  7. You will be able to confirm that the integration has been successfully completed, as the PayPal button in the left-hand column will be highlighted in green and say Activated.

No additional steps are required. Your events will now default to the new PayPal integration when PayPal is enabled as a payment option.
