When you add tickets to your cart, a timer appears on the upper right, under the search bar that displays how many tickets you have in your cart and how much time you have left to complete a purchase. You will have 15 minutes to complete your order or the tickets will be released from your cart.
Fifteen minutes is usually more than enough time to complete the process. To expedite the process, keep your payment method nearby, avoid switching tabs, and have all the information you may need handy.
Why is There a Time Limit?
A timer ensures that all customers have equal opportunity to buy tickets.
If we didn’t have a cart timer, a customer could keep tickets in their cart, preventing other potential attendees from purchase. A timer also ensures that if a customer abandoned their cart, the tickets would be available again after 15 minutes.
